An electronic device and a control method thereof are disclosed. According to the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a first body; a band coupled to the first body to be worn on a wrist of a user; a second body coupled onto the first body to relatively move with respect to the first body; and a control unit configured to generate a control signal in accordance with the relative movement of the second body. According to the present invention, the electronic device can be controlled in accordance with the relative movement between the first and second bodies.
