The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for recognizing a gesture. According to the present invention, the method for recognizing a gesture comprises the following steps: outputting an audio signal; allowing the output audio signal to obtain an audio signal changed by a gesture of a user; analyzing the obtained audio signal; and recognizing the gesture of the user according to the analyzed result of the audio signal. According to the present invention, the user can control a device by recognizing the gesture of the user without wearing an additional device. |
