Air odour intensity detector - has regulating valves between odourless source and jet pump and between latter and measuring device for odoriferous air

The adour intensity detector gauges the odoriferous air in comparison with odourless air, e.g. oxygen, synthetic gas etc. A jet pump is connected to a source of odourless air for feeding to a nose mask. A measuring device is joined to the input side of the pump to measure the air drawn in by the latter and the odoriferous air flowing through it. A regulating valve is installed between the neutral air source and the pump, and another one is installed between the pump and the measuring device for odoriferous air. A regulating valve (9) with a following excess pressure valve (10) is positioned between the jet pump (2) and the nose mask (3). For pre-mixing of neutral and odoriferous air to a predetermined vol. ratio, a further jet pump (11) can be provided with an intake stack (12). A measuring device (4) can be coupled to its output. A blocking and regulating valve (13) is installed on the input side.
