Water softener for domestic use, adapted to be attached also to the usual washing machines. operating on the principle of ion exchange by means of resins, with automatic regeneration cycle in pre-established and constant conditions, comprising a tank (11) for the regeneration saline solution, an impulse-actuated dispensing valve (13), a float (14) level-regulator connected to the valve (13) which controls the flow of saline solution through a calibrated hole (10) in the bottom of the tank (11). Fixed within the tank (11) is a perforated container (12) which contains the sodium chloride required for forming the saline solution for regenerating the resins. The assembly comprises, finally, a container (3) for the ion exchange resins, and a three-way distribution valve (1) having two operating positions, namely one for the exchange cycle and one for the regeneration cycle. |
