Offset printing machine with reception table height control - has switches responsive to table height coupled to machine programme circuit

The offset printing machine has a programme circuit and a reception table which has a raising drive interrupted via a switch element operated in dependence on the table height and by actuation of a manual button. This switch element also initiates lowering of the table and is coupled to the programme circuit, for initiation of a switching off programme. Pref. a further switch element responds to the table being lowered and is connected to the programme circuit, to prevent subsequent operation of the machine until the table has again been raised. The programme circuit may also be controlled via a height sensor for the sheet stack received by the table.
