The arrangement is intended for laying textile fibre fuse cord in the form of cycloid loops inside a container via a rotating coiler funnel. The machine includes a cord guide passage with an outlet opening facing the container, all in accordance with known practice. In the new version of the machine only the coiler is rotated with a cyclically varying angular velocity such that the variations in the velocity with which the cord is positioned relative to the container are reduced to a min. The container itself remains stationary, or is only swivelled relative to the coiler and not rotated.
