It can accommodate all sensor lengths. Simple rapid mounting of sensors is possible without subsequent leaks from the fitting point. It consists of a housing (10) with one or more sensor socket (20) in a part of the housing wider than the fittings (14) enabling it to be connected to the tubing to be instrumented. The sensor sockets are in the form of tubes passing through the housing walls and with a sensing hole drilled in the part projecting into the housing interior. The socket tubes can be threaded for screwin insertion.
