<p>The overflow control causes the load experienced by the supply pump motor to increase, with this increase detected to cut-off the motor and prvent overflowing. The tank has a ventilation pipe with a throttle restriction at a given height of small dia than the fueld supply line so that when the fueld in the tank reaches this height, the pump pressure increases causing the rise in the motor load. The latter is detected by measuring the voltage of a resistor connected in front of the motor and comparing it with a reference voltage to cut-off the motor circuit when the measured value drops below the reference voltage. Pref. the supply line from the pump includes a magnetic valve opened via a transistor switch when the motor is running.</p> |
