Folding strip applicator for book block spines - uses continuous flow conveyor with side and lower spring tongues on rails

Machine applies folding strips to the spine of book blocks in a continuous flow operation. The track applying the strip is equipped with side and lower inclined spring tongues and has a book block conveyor located directly above. The side spring tongues are held on tongue rails kept transverse to the direction of movement of the conveyor in an operating position and capable of being moved out from this operating position by pushing rods. The folding strip track is fitted with a locking system to either swivel out or lower it from the operating position.
