PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled membrane which is excellent in the quantity of water, which transmits, and a rate of removal by a method wherein a thin membrane with composition consisting of polyethylene imine (derivative) and piperazine (derivative) is prepared on a porous supporting body and treated with a polyfunctional bridging agent solution. CONSTITUTION:A thin membrane with composition being composed of a compound A and a compound B is formed on a porous supporting body by treating the supporting body with a water solution containing the compound A and the compound B. The membrane is treated with a polyfunctional bridging agent, whose one molecule has not less then two functional groups which can react with an amino group, such as an organic solvent solution of acid chloride, isocyanate, etc., and thermally treated immediately, and the thin membrane consisting of the compounds A, B is bridged. The compound A is either of the two or both of polyethylene imine and its derivative, and the compound B is either of the two or both of piperazine and its derivative. The compound membrane hardly changes on standing, and also has an excellent chlorine resisting property. |
