PURPOSE:To enable to common use the same magnetic head to recording and reproduction and to increase the S/N characteristics and resolution, by making small the inductance at the coil terminal of the magnetic head in analog recording write-in and making greater in reproduction. CONSTITUTION:The selection circuit is used to use the magnetic head having the coil terminal three or more for write-in and reproduction of analog signal. When the coil terminal T2 is connected to the positive power supply, the current flows through the constant current power supply 5 via the diode 3 from the coil terminals T2, T1 at positive half wave of the input signal I1, and the current flows through the terminals T1, T3 and diode 4 at positive half wave of the input signal I2. Accordingly, the write-in of analog signal is made with small inductance. In reproduction, by grounding the coil terminal T2, the voltage between the coil terminals is outputted to the amplifier 6 and the inductance is great. Thus, the recording and reproduction for analog signal is made with the same magnetic head, allowing to increase the S/N and resolution. |
