PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band seal device for a capsule which can correspond to all capsule sizes, enables component replacement work in a short period of time and can efficiently perform band sealing over hard capsules of various small lots.SOLUTION: The band seal device has parallel claws 19a, 19b which open and close so that a capsule 4 can be chucked by sandwiching both ends of the capsule, and a tank 11 of a band seal unit 1 accommodates a band seal liquid 10. The band seal device includes a band seal roller 8, the lower side of which is submerged in the band seal liquid 10 to rotate, and chucked capsule circumference comes into contact with the rotating band seal roller 8 to thereby cause the capsule to rotate together so that the whole circumference of the capsule can undergo band sealing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
