<p>PURPOSE:To cope flexibly with modification of system configulation, by constituting a vehicle control system with an electronic master control unit and a plurality of electronic slave control units thereby sharing control between them. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control unit ECU comprises CPU, ROM, RAM, I/O port and the like, and connected through a communication control section 9 with a network 8. A drive mode ECU1 determines a travel mode based on accelerator opening, vehicle speed and battery recharge amount, and also serves as a host ECU for managing another ECU. An energy ECU2 detects battery recharge amount while an engine ECU3 determines engine throttle opening corresponding to the accelerator opening under travel mode and motor T/MECU 4 and engine A/TECU5 determine sped change stage based on travel conditions.</p> |
