摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel visible light responsive composition that shows high photocurrent responsivity to visible-light irradiation and can serve as a photoelectrode, a photocatalyst, and a photosensor.SOLUTION: The present invention provides: a visible light responsive composition comprising Fe, Mg, Sm and oxygen, wherein when the total of Fe, Mg and Sm is 100%, an element content ratio (molar ratio) is: Fe of 40-60%, Mg of 10-30%, and Sm of 30-50%; a photoelectrode, a photosensor and a photocatalyst comprising the visible light responsive composition; a solar cell using the photoelectrode; and a water decomposition method using the photoelectrode or photocatalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: None
