PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device capable of starting oil cooling at an early stage.SOLUTION: A driving device includes: a motor housing 15 for housing a motor 12; a speed reducer 13 which is disposed in the motor housing 15 so as to reduce the speed of the rotation of a rotary shaft 21 of the motor 12 by meshing of a plurality of gears 29, 30, and 31; and an inverter device for controlling the motor 12. The motor housing 15 includes an oil tank and a catch tank 35 for dropping oil O of the oil tank scraped up according to rotation of the gears 29, 30, and 31 of the speed reducer 13 to a heat generating point of the motor 12. The inverter device switches control for deteriorating efficiency according to a flow rate of the oil O of the catch tank 35 detected by a flow rate sensor, the rotation number of the motor 12 and a torque of the motor 12 and normal control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
