PURPOSE:To manufacture the semi-permeable membrane which has no defect such as pin-holes, cracks, etc. and is excellent in water permeability and an exfoliation resisting property by a method wherein a polymer solution is let flow and extended onto a supporting body, to which a solvent of the polymer solution is reviously attached, and the membrane is produced in a laminating shape. CONSTITUTION:A fiber sheet-like body such as a porous sintered body, a woven fabric, a braid, a nonwoven fabric, paper, etc. is used as a supporting body. The supporting body is previously immersed in a solvent of a polymer solution, and gas in the supporting body is replaced with the solvent while the supporting body is beforehand moistened. The polymer solution is let flow and extended onto the supporting body, and guided to a coagulating bath consisting of water or a mixture of water and a solvent, and atmospheres and retention time up to charge into the coagulating bath from the letting-flow and extension are made fixed, thus manufactureing a compound membrane with prescribed performance. The membrane taken out from the coagulating bath is washed by water, and used as it is or employed after it is thermally treated suitably. |
