PURPOSE:To clarify room air by a method wherein an oxygen doner mainly consisting of peroxide(s) is added to water in a water tank of a heating type humidifier, the water is heated, and oxygen generated through decomposition of the peroxide(s) in the oxygen doner is entrained in steam for clarifying room air. CONSTITUTION:At least one compound selected from the group consisting of urea peroxide, percarbonates, perborates, and hydrogen peroxide is added to water in a water tank of a heating type humidifier, and the water is heated. Oxygen generated during heating is fed into a room together withs steam, to clarily room air. By this, oxygen can be replenished to keep room air clean even when the humidifier is used in a room being shut off. Since the oxygen generated through decomposition of the peroxide(s) has a strong pasteurizing action, room air can be pasteurized, and room air will not have smell of putrefaction even after a long use of the humidifier. |
