PURPOSE:To simplify the driving circuit of a power transistor by employing the input signal and the reverse bias signal obtained from the signal with a fixed time range due to one-shot multivibrator following thereof. CONSTITUTION:When input signal is applied to the terminal 9, the output terminal Q of a one-shot multivibrator 5 gets the output with a fixed time width depending on the resistance 3c and the capacitor 6, which is sent to the transistor 8b. On the other hand, as the input signal constitutes the base input of the transistor 8a, the secondary winding 12a of the transformer 7a gets the same output as the input signal whereby the secondary winding 12b of the transformer 7b receives a negative signal inverted in the output of the multivibrator 5. In addition, with the secondary windings 12a and 12b connected in series, the input signal and a signal with a fixed time width in the reverse bias following thereof are applied on the base of the power transistor 1a thereby allowing the transistor 1a to be quickly shut off from the state of conduction. This eliminates any reverse bias power source thereby simplifying the drive circuit. |
