PURPOSE:To reduce the power loss and simplify the circuitry with a higher feed voltage to the front stage than that to the output stage by driving the transformer by means of a Darlington connection circuit for two transisters provided on the front stage and the output stage. CONSTITUTION:The on-off control is made on the primary side of the transformer 1 with a transistor Q2 on the output stage while a rectifier and smoothing circuits 2 and 3 are connected on the secondary side thereof to obtain a DC voltage V0 and DELTAV. A Darlington connection is made between the transistor Q2 and the transistor Q1 so that the feed voltage V1+DELTAV to the emitter of the transistor Q1 is set at a high level than the feed voltage V1 to the collector of the transistor Q2 and the differential voltage is added to by a voltage obtained on the secondary side of the transformer 1. With such an arrangement, the saturation voltage between the collector and emitter of the transistor Q2 on the output stage is reduced by DELTAV to reduce the power loss while the voltage DELTAV is obtained from the secondary side of the transformer to simplify the circuitry. |
