Aluminium foil coating machine for paper container - stretches container before sliding it onto preformed foil for covering interior

The method is used for providing a coating which is preformed on to a container casing made from a flat fibre material such as paper. The casing is widened out over the outer measurement of the coating. It is then slid over the coating held by a support and is then left to shrink onto the coating. The casing and/or the coating are provided with an adhesive covering before the sliding on process. The machine used for the process inludes a prong to hold the preformed coating (2) and a splaying prong (3) for the casing which can be brought into an adjoining and co-axial position.
