Tractor tractive effort control mechanism - regulates effort dependent on amount transmitted by front and rear wheels

The tractive effort control mechanism is for the hydraulic lift of a farm tractor, particularly one with all-wheel drive, and having a pendulum-mounted front axle. The resistance encountered by a mounted plough acts on a spring measurement device working with a sensor. The latter generates electrical signals corresponding to movement of the device and which adjust the hydraulic lift control valve. Effort is regulated dependent on the amount by which the effort transmitted by the front (1) and rear (2) wheels deviates from the ideal value, and typically by the amount for which the front axle is relieved of load.
