The optical rectifier is intended, in particular, for photogrammetric purposes. It consists essentially of a light source (1) and, one after the other in the beam path thereof, a condenser (4), a photograph carrier (5), a projector lens (7) and a plotting table (8). The photograph carrier (5), plotting table (8) and projector lens (7) can be adjusted to one another. For the purpose of compensating the light loss occurring during inclination of the plotting table (8), optically active means in the form of filters, scattering plates or diaphragms are arranged with a suitable orientation in the illuminating beam path, preferably in the vicinity of the light source (1). <IMAGE>
