<p>A strand of fibres is laid on to a rotating supporting surface so that a profiled convex disc is formed. This is needle bonded and is cut into two parts, possibly also being cut to shape, for shoulder pads. Immediately on being laid down the fibre disc is needled. The finished neelded disc is placed on a second supporting surface covered with a fleece, and the disc is covered with a second fleece, the three layers being then needle bonded. Used to automate the prodn of shoulder pads in a simple and rational manner.</p> |
