<p>Microbicidal compsn. contains >=1 aminosulphonylaniline of formula (I) or their salts with organic or inorganic acids. In (I) R1 is 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy, or halo; R2 is H, 1-3C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy orhalo; R3 is H, 1-3C alkyl or halo; R4 is H or CH3, and the total no. of C in R1-4 is is not >8; X is CH2 or CH(CH3); R5 is COOR', S COSR' or CONR"R'"; R', R" and R'" are each CH3 or C2H5; R6 is H, 1-6C alkyl (opt. substd. by CN, OH or 1-3C alkoxy), 3-6C alkenyl (3pt. substd. by halo), 3-6C alkynyl or 3-7C cycloalkyl; R7 is as R6 or also phenyl or benzyl, opt. substd. by halo or 1-3C alkyl or alkoxy, or R6+R7 together complete a 3-7 membered heterocycle which can be substd. by 1-3C alkyl or halo, or contain 1 or 2 extra heteroatoms. Esp. used for treating or preventing fungal infection of plants, esp. by Phycomycetes such as Phytophthora, Peronospora, Pseudoperonospora, Pythium or Plasmopara. (I) have systemic action and can be also be used to treat seeds or to control soil fungi.</p> |
