Claw coupling of aluminium pressure diecasting - with polyamide rollers as buffers between claws

A claw coupling consists of two halves, each with aluminium pressure die casting around a steel hub with the keyway for the drive shaft. The claws of the two coupling halves are in contact with each other through cylindrical rollers of an electric material, preferably made of polyamide, and have redii of curvature to suit the radius of these rollers. The rollers are guided between an outer ring and an inner ring and have pivots which enter into slots. This is a low-cost coupling with completely indentical halves which can be displaced axially relative to each other.
