The coaxial contact pots each comprises a split contact carrier (4), with a close contact ring (12). The free surface of the latter has a bevel around both its inner and outer edge. The interior of the contact ring (12) or the surface of the contact carrier (4) on which it is mounted, incorporates a zone (14) of reduced conductivity relative to the material of the contact carrier. The width (d) of this zone (14) in the radial sense is pref. greater than the width (c) of the mating contact surface of the contact ring (12). The zone (14) may comprise a void or the latter may be filled with a ferromagnetic or insulating insert (16).
