<p>The body comprising several flexibly connected elements may be of wood, metal or synthetic material, for use eg. as a watercraft. The flexible connections permit variation of th overall shape to reflect varying situations and conditions. A pref. arrangement uses a symmetrical central element linked to two asymmetrical lateral elements, the dimensions and shapes being optimised for operating requirements. One or more of the lateral elements may embody fixed or movable stabilising fins; may be hollow and lightweight foamed resin-filled to create a reserve of buoyancy sufficient to render the whole assembly unsinkable.</p> |
