PURPOSE:To shorten to the shortest the time when a separating claw comes into contact with the surface of a photosensitive drum by providing a three- dimensional cam on the inside of a peripheral wall provided on one face of a rotary plate which turns forward and backward by interlocking with an optical system. CONSTITUTION:A rotary plate 1 is screwed through a long hole 2 to a gear which can turn forward and backward by interlocking with an optical system. When a forward turn gear driven in a going path of the optical system rotates, the rotary plate 1 also starts to rotate, and in this case, a pin 5 of the end part of a lever 4 for operating a separating claw moves, while slide-contacting with the inside periphery of a peripheral wall 3 and abuts on a guide wall 6a of the front end of a cam 6. Thereafter, the pin 5 moves in the center direction of the rotary plate 1 along the guide wall 6a, therefore, by an operation of the lever 4, the separating claw abuts on the surface of a photosensitive drum. When a forward turn gear stops and a reverse turn gear starts to rotate, the pin 5 ascends along a slant face 6b of the rear end of the cam 6, and in this case, the lever 4 is bent in the axial direction of the rotary plate 1, therefore, the leer 4 is not operated, and the separating claw is not driven either. |
