PURPOSE:To facilitate the production of low-voltage large-current winding and to improve the space factor at a large current transformer by a method wherein the coil to be wound in a main transformer is composed by plural number of parallel conductors coated with insulating paper, and the coil to be wound in a series transformer is composed of the disc-like conductors having prescribed size in the direction of axis. CONSTITUTION:The coil elements to be wound in a main transformer A are formed of four parallel conductors 1-4 each wound one time at upper section and lower section, and the plural number of the coil elements are piled up in the direction of axis. The coils to be wound in a series transformer B are composed of the disc- like conductors 5 and 6 having the size in the direction of axis so as to be able to connect at confronting position with the connectors led out from each coil element of main transformer A, formed in semicylindrical shape and having connecting parts at both end, and confronting two conductors to form a one-winding coil. |
