PURPOSE:To eliminate break of an electrode completely to extend the life of the electrode, by filling up a metal to be the electrode in the hole provided in the rod of the stylus main body to form a pickup element structure. CONSTITUTION:A laser light condensed narrowly is irradiated to the center of rod 20 obtained by polishing sapphire (or diamond) to provide hole 21 of a diameter of several mu, and a metallic thin bar (metallic powder mixed with an adhesive) is filled up in hole 21 and is fixed to obtain electrode 22. Next, the rod main body above is cut into a proper form and is polished to obtain pickup element 23, and this element 23 is fitted to the tip of stylus arm 24 consisting of insulating materials, and one end of line spring 25 is connected to electrode 22 of element 23 electrically, thus obtaining a pickup. |
