PURPOSE:To increase the luminance as well as the resolution of the TV picture image on the projection screen, by forming the normal line of the face panel forming the fluorescent screen with a tilt of a fixed angle to the tube axis. CONSTITUTION:Braun tube 13 is formed so that normal line 14 of face panel 13A featuring a fixed curvature may be tilted by fixed angle beta totube axis 15 of tube 13. As a result, the coincidence is obtained between axis 15 and axis 5 of the optical system, and thus the problem can be avoided for the light shielding of the effective TV picture image, which is caused by the tilt of tube 15 to axis 5. And the coincidence is obtained between axis 5 and the tube axis of tube 13, and accordingly the adjustment accuracy is increased for the optical system. In this respect, the resolution is increased for the TV picture image on the projection screen. |
