PURPOSE:To secure the correction for the mounting shift of the original and then prevent the dropout of the original information for the copying device using the laser, by giving the proper displacement to the position of the solid state sensor in accordance with the sensor output. CONSTITUTION:If the position shifts X and Y occur to mounting standards 32 and 31 each when orignal O is set onto mount board 30, amounts X and Y are detected by sensor groups 33 and 34 at the operating time of the device to be then supplied to the driving means of support means 24 of solid state sensor 19 as well as to copying paper supply timing controller 37 each. As a result, means 24 is displaced in parallel to main scanning line L and by the amount equivalent to the position shift amount of the image projected on the receiving region of sensor 19 corresponding to amount X, and then the position shift is corrected in the main scanning direction. At the same time, original scanning unit 20 shifts, and the output from group 34 disappears at the moment when line L crosses the tip of original O. Then roller 37 turns again to start the carriage of the copying paper. As a result, the position shift can be corrected in the secondary scanning direction. |
