PURPOSE:To improve drivability by converting a speed change pattern when a changing speed of an engine load is higher in comparison with a reference which is fixed high in a low load and low in a high load. CONSTITUTION:The power of an engine 1 is transmitted to wheels 5 through a torque converter 2, an automatic transmission 3 and a differential 4. The rotational speed of axles 6 is detected by a speed sensor 7, which feeds the output to a microcomputer 9 oppositely connected to a throttle sensor 8. The computer 9 stores at least two kinds of those speed patterns and detects the opening speed of a throttle. A unit is available for selecting a high speed change pattern when the opening speed of a throttle valve is higher in comparison with a reference which is fixed high when the throttle valve is opened narrowly and low when it is opened widely. |
