PURPOSE:To facilitate the appreciation of the situation at the time of the air bag deployment by storing the latest acceleration data of an automobile in the first memory means and writing this stored data in the nonvolatile second memory means when the acceleration of the preset value or above occurs and an air bag is deployed. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration sensor 8 to detect the acceleration of an automobile is provided, the latest acceleration data detected here in the preset period are stored in RAM (first memory means) 2. When the acceleration becomes the preset value or above, an air bag ignition circuit 6 is operated, and an air bag is deployed to protect the crew. In this case, an interrupt signal is generated in response to the deployment operation of the air bag, a microcomputer 1A is interrupted via an interface circuit 5 to start an interrupt program. When the data can be written in the nonvolatile memory (second memory means) 3, all the acceleration data of the RAM 2 are written in the memory 3. |
