摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To simplify production process and produce the liquid crystal device of high accuracy and high quality by depositing the liquid crystal orientation agent coated on a coating plate onto the transparent electrodes of a substrate by way of a transfer body. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal orientation agent 14 of viscosities about 50-1,000 cp is evenly coated on a coating plate 13. Next, a transfer body 15 which is composed of rubber-like material having elasticity and has nearly the same shape and size as those of the desired liquid crystal vertical orientation film is mounted to a fixing body 16 and the transfer body 15 is rotation-contacted in the arrow direction to the orientation agent 14 surface on the coating plate 13 so that the orientation agent 14 is deposited on the transfer body 15. Next, the orientation agent 14a held on the transfer body 15 is transferred in the specified positions of the top surface 17a of the substrate 17 to form liquid crystal vertical orientation film 18. This is fired and set for about 5-180min in air of about 80-350 deg.C. By using this substrate, the liquid crystal display element is assembled according to conventional methods.</p>
