PURPOSE:To enable to measure the fine amount of turbidity for alcoholic drink and pure water stably, by reducing the factors of dispersion of zero point adjustment for turbidimeter, through the use of the standard cell made of uniform and transparent optical glass and forming the light transmission surfaces in optical polishment in parallel with the opposing surface. CONSTITUTION:The standard cell A for turbidity calibration is the solid cube made of optical glass uniform optically, less in impurity, transparent and less in refractive index, the parallel light transmission surfaces 1, 2 are given to a pair of surfaces opposing each other in optical polishment and other four surfaces 3-6 are frosted glass having black paint on external surface. The standard cell A or the cell incorporating the test piece is placed in front of the integration ball 7, and the light from the light source 8 is parallel ray and enters the integration ball 7 via the standard cell A or the cell containing the test piece. The parallel transmission light is detected at the detector 11, the scattered light is detected at the detector 12 and operated at the operational amplifier 10 and the value is displayed on the display meter 14. |
