Adhesive tape (6) is drawn out of a front part (3A) of a tying arm (3), while the machine is in the position illustrated. The end of the tape (6) is then clamped in a groove (17A) of a tape holder (17) by a front part (19A) of a tape-clamping lever (19). The articles (A) to be tied are then pressed onto the outer adhesive face of the tape (6), until they are located on a table (2). The tying arm (3) is then pivoted downwards, and the tape (6) winds once around the articles (A), whilst at the same time excess tape is wound onto a tape roll (5) again. Such a tying machine serves especially for the bundling of elongate articles by means of the adhesive tape (6) and at the same time guarantees a bundling which is as play-free as possible. <IMAGE> |
