The invention provides an arrangement for removal of slag and metal remainders 5 from pots 3 which are used for the tapping of molten material and especially of molten aluminium and aluminium alloys, comprising a rotatable, vertically displaceable milling cutter 1 which is arranged on a shaft 7 and equipped with a number of cutters 2 distributed around the circumference of the milling cutter and so arranged that they will cut away deposited remainders 5 on the side wail of the pot and on its bottom, the pot being arranged bottom upwards on a ring 5 which is arranged to rotate in opposite direction of the direction of rotation of the milling cutter, the milling cutter and the pot being arranged eccentrically in relation to one another. <IMAGE> |
