RECEPTION AND IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR SIGNAL OUTSIDE AURAL BAND

PURPOSE:To secure the identification for the stored coins by receiving for process the AC signals outside the aural band featuring the different time duration according to the stored coins through the public telephone to which the different types of coins can be used together. CONSTITUTION:Public telephone SUB for use of different types of coins together is connected to pay station outgoing trunk OGT-CH via line link network LLN of the electronic exchange and trunk link network TLN each as well as to AC signal reception circuit RCVE. After receiving the pole reversing pulse in the form of the coin storage signal, telephone SUB sends the AC signals outside the aural band showing the types of the stored coins to the exchange with the time duration made different between the small- and large-amount coins. This AC signal is rectified via RCVE and then the relay is actuated to be informed to the CPU via trunk scanner TSCN. At TSCN the pulses corresponding to the continuous time of the AC signals are generated, and then these pulses are scanned in the time-division way. In such way, the continuous time of the AC signal is known, thus enabling identification for the types of coins.
