An injection apparatus for use in an injection molding system comprises an injection cylinder having an inlet part and an outlet port adapted to selectively permit the flow of a liquid into and of the cylinder, the injection cylinder further having first and second ends with a piston slidably disposed therein and extending out of the first end thereof, and a hollow tube coupled to the piston and extending out of the second end of the injection cylinder, the hollow tube having at least one port and the piston having blocking means for blocking off each the port on the hollow tube as the piston slides in the cylinder.
