PURPOSE:To obtain a printer which shows no color development even with repeated heating by a method wherein coated surfaces of both a printing body coated with electron-accepting material and an auxiliary sheet coated with electron-donating material are stuck to each other, a thermal head is provided on the outer surface of the auxiliary sheet and color development is performed by a chemical reaction of both materials. CONSTITUTION:A printing body is obtained by coating the electron-accepting material 12 such as the dispersing liquid wherein fine bisphenol is dispersed evenly in a water solution of polyvinyl alcohol on the surface of a substrate 11 made of paper or a plastic sheet. Apart from this, an auxiliary sheet 2 is obtained by coating electron-donating material 21 such as the dispersing liquid wherein fine crystalviolet lactone is dispersed evenly in a water solution of polyvinyl alcohol on the surface of a substrate 21 made of paper of a plastic sheet. Then, the printing body 1 and the auxiliary sheet 2 are laid on each other so that both materials 12 and 22 be in contact with each other and heated locally by a thermal head 3 to cause a chemical reaction between two materials 21 and 22, thereby color being developed. |
