PURPOSE:To enable to check functions of a control system for vehicle in a short while after completion of assembling on the vehicle, by employing such an arrangement for the control system that a check program can be connected to a control CPU so that various portions of the control circuits can be checked by starting the check program anytime when it is required. CONSTITUTION:Input signals 11-13 afforded to input circuit 10 are furnished to RAM20 via data bus 80, and written and storecd in addresses in RAM20 selected by signals from address bus 70, with ON-OFF signals being converted into digital code signals and pulse signals being converted into digital code signals, respectively. On the basis of these input data thus stored in RAM20 and control data in ROM30, CPU40 carries out operation according to the control program stored in ROM30. Here, the ROM30 is composed of memory 31 for the control program and control data and memory 32 for check data, and the memory 32 is arranged to be detached from memory 31 by use of IC sockets or the like. |
