PURPOSE:To attain excellent lubrication for rotary piston engine by controlling the particle sizes of lubricating oil, direction of the lubricating oil flow, etc., by employing an arrangement in which lubricating oil is supplied into the intake passage after being electrified and a controlling electrode is provided at a position downstreams of the position where the electrified lubricating oil is injected, so that a voltage is impressed to the controlling electrode. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil supply passage 8 is communicated at its down-stream portion to an orifice 8a formed at a portion in intake passage 6 located upstreams of throttle valve 7. By means of metering pump 9, lubricating oil is injected from orifice 8a into intake passage 6 for lubricating the sliding surface of rotor 3 in work chamber 4. Here, at a portion of passage 8 between pump 9 and orifice 8a, there is provided an electrifying means 13 consisting of electrifying chamber 10 and a needlelike electrode 12 supported by the intermediary of insulating material 11, and the electrode 12 is connected to controller 14 so that a high voltage is impressed to the electrode 12. On the other hand, a control electrode 15 is provided on the inner surface of rotor housing 1 in the manner facing the work chamber 4. The controlling electrode 15 is also supported by the intermediary of insulating material 16 and connected to controller 14 so that a hivoltage having an inverse polarity to that of electrode 12 is impressed to the electrode 15. |
