PURPOSE:When ''ori-konbu'', a grade of dried tangle product, is dried, the tangle leaves are held with flat holders to prevent the deformation and damage. CONSTITUTION:Fresh tangle leaves are laid between holders of flat plates 2 and dried. As the drying progresses, the thin leaf part 4 shrinks. The whole part is pressed with the holder 1 and the tangle is stretched coming to the end of drying. The flat holders 1 have higher projections than the surface and more than 80% area of through-structure. |
