<p>The lamp shades are delivered flat and then made into a framework using plastics clips. The ends of the frame are circular and of steel, as are the rods connecting them. These items are assembled using the clips which grip flexibly. The method avoids having to solder or weld the rods on to the circles. The flat packing reduces overall size which is important for transport and movement inside shops. The clips have a slot in them into which the rod and circles fit.</p> |
