The cooling water recovery system is particularly for chemical cleaning machines and other equipment requiring water cooling. It comprises a storage tank with axial-flow fan and a pump connected together in a closed circuit, to provide the cooling systems for the machine. The fan provides surface cooling of water returned to the tank at increased temperature.
