<p>The electronic flash apparatus with an exposure meter/flash limit device comprises a discharge circuit consisting of capacitor, flash tube and switch of which the last two become conductive after a delay. They are connected in parallel with the component which is last to become conductive which are the series-connected diode and capacitor from which power is supplied to the exposure meter/flash limit device. The switch consists of a thyristor which is cut off by the discharge current from a discharge capacitor. The exposure meter/flash limit device consists of series-connected resistor, phototransistor and capacitor of which the resistor and capacitor are connected to the collector and emitter of the phototransistor respectively, the connecting point between capacitor and emitter being connected via a threshold switch to the control electrode of the discharge thyristor mounted in the capacitive discharge circuit of the thyristor.</p> |
