PURPOSE:A weakly acidic emulsified cosmetic for the skin having improved stability comprising an oily cosmetic raw material, a cationic polymer, an amine, a higher fatty acid, and water. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic comprising (A) 10-50wt% of an oily cosmetic raw material, (B) 0.5-3wt% of a cationic cellulose or starch with a specific cationic nitrogen content, (C) triethanol-or triisopropanolamine, (D) a higher fatty acid having a 16-22C alkyl group, and (E) water, at molar ratios of (D) to (C) of >=2:1, and (C) to (B) of 0.2-1.0:1. The cosmetic is a weakly acidic emulsion (pH:4-6) the same as the healthy human skin, and useful as a cream or lotion. |
