The long distance ski training appts. is designed to be used on asphalt as concrete paths. It is fitted with free wheel units built into rubber damped running rollers (2) which permit an imitation of the long distance ski movement. The free wheel units also have a ring type seal built in to the running rollers and to cope with down hill gradients there is a brake acting on the rear free wheel rollers. The appts. is also fitted with a locking screw to permit the exchange of the rubber damped running rollers on lighter plastics rollers which reduces the weight of the appts. and allows quicker movement.
