The fold-out box in cardboard has a closable dispensing opening (11) formed by a flap with a grip lip (13). The flap hinges about a grooved line (12) and locks in the opening to seal it when closed. The longitudinal edges of the flap are each formed by double score lins (22, 23). These consist of a score line (23) into the outer surface of the box wall material to form the outer edges of the flap. A parallel score line (22) at the inner surface of the wall is inward of the outer flap edges.
